BMC is inviting application for the post of Junior Engineer in Maharashtra.
Eligibility Criteria: Candidate should have earned, after SSC or similar qualification, a 3-year diploma in mechanical/electrical/automobile/production engineering or diploma in electronics power system/diploma in industrial electronics/diploma instrumentation/diploma in electronics and communication engineering or should have cleared the technician engg. exam of Institute of Mechanical Engineers (India) or a diploma recognized as equal to this by the Maharashtra Govt. and BMC or candidate should be declared eligible by BMC.
Pay Scale : Not Negotiable.

Procedure to apply : Candidate must be present on date of selection with bio data-cum-application form duly signed & with latest passport size photographs pasted and duly signed on the form. 4 copies of the same photograph must be taken for selection process. Address for correspondence should be clearly provided. BMC employees wishing to appear for the selection process should carry a no objection certificate (NOC) issued by dept. head.
About BMC :The jurisdiction of the BMC runs over the full island city: from Colaba in the south to Mulund and Dahisar in the north. It maintains toll stations (check nakas) at these two northern entry points to the city. The Mumbai Port Trust and defence areas, as well as the Borivili National Park are exempt from its jurisdiction. The main administrative offices are in the BMC headquarters opposite the Chhatrapati Shivaji Railway Terminus.
